By definition, Angels are messengers [Hebrew - Melak or Melakim (plural)]. They have no free-will.(evil spirits)
They go where they are commanded to go and do what they commanded to do... Of course not all theologies are created equal and some have a different take on Angels than the original (and only) monotheistic (No 2-fers or 3-bies) Jewish mythology. https://roosterpolitics.blogspot.com/2015/12/is-it-angel-or-spirit.html
Some can do something 'referenced in the Bible" as ones who can involve angels in disguise as many records still today. They travel across the galaxy, or and some call them aliens from another world have sent AI over vast distances, what's so hard about believing spiritual entities from another dimension might appear in human form under God's direction?
Hebrews 13:2 (various translations all say the same);
"Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it."
Additionally, angels of the Bible are spiritual beings who have personalities that include emotions (Luke 2: 13-14), intelligence (2 Corinthians 11:2, 13) and wills (2 Timothy 2:26). Satan was an angel who was cast from heaven along with many other angels who decided to follow him and chose to sin (2 Peter 2:4). In terms of free will, the Bible reveals this was an exercise of their ability to choose (Jude 1:6).
|Dr. Rajiv Parti|
A former chief anesthesiologist at Bakersfield Heart Hospital, Dr. Rajiv Parti discussed how his own emergency surgery in 2010, resulted in a near-death experience (NDE) that changed his life completely. He detailed his experience of watching his body from above the operating table while being completely lucid as his "untethered consciousness" traveled away from the operating theater to various other worldly encounters. At first, he found himself in a dark hellish environment, and had the realization that he had led the wrong kind of life, focused on gaining material wealth. His deceased father appeared and led him out of there into a tunnel, where he was presented with a current life review, and two past life reviews.
On the other side of the tunnel, he was greeted by two powerful Christian angels, which was curious since he was brought up Hindu.
One of the angels, Raphael, is known as the angel for healing, and doctors, which might have been related to his health struggles, he surmised. From there he was brought to a "Being of Light." Upon his return, Parti eventually made many changes to his life, choosing a less wealth and status-driven path. Many people have tried to explain away NDEs under anesthesia as caused by the administered drugs. But as an anesthesiologist himself, Parti is in a unique position to declare that such medication is very unlikely to create the types of experiences he had.
